Cool stuff from my Sampler…

I love The Sampler! I know you do, too. Here are some things from the December edition that had me giggling and clapping my hands:

A tasty fused glass ring, by Amy Burhoe Designs. Her website is full of beautiful things.

Some Grapefruit and Ho Wood Balm from Scrub your Butt Soap Co. (I never get tired of saying that out loud.) This stuff smells just like ripe grapefruit – mmmmmmmmm.

My favorite thing was a gorgeous package from Jaime Zollars. I can’t imagine the time she must have put into assembly — it’s all housed in a deep brown envelope, wrapped with red patterned paper ribbons, and sealed with this seal.

 
Inside, there are a stack of amazing postcards, a bookmark, and a button, all bearing Jaime’s wonderful illustrations. I am hardly doing her work justice with these photos. Can you see that the trees in the first image are made up entirely of little birds? Wow. I’m also a fan of Jaime’s blog, Paper Forest.
