Quilt Block Swap – Woo-Hoo!

I’m in Kristin’s Quilt Block Swap, which is so much fun. This month, my swap partner was Jenn, of Hambone & Jennicakes fame. And she is a fantastic quilter. Can you believe how beautiful her blocks are?

I love these so much! I’m collecting blocks each month with a theme of “Tiki Paradise,” and these are just perfectly tiki! I love that ocean wave fabric — and that little hula girl? Cuuuute.

 

And then, look at these embroideries she did on each block. Can you see the precision in that pineapple? Wow. Jenn, you are some kind of needle superhero.

Nicest of all, she made me this awesome pillow-cover for my tiki living room. I love it! It looks so great among all the tiki mugs and grass-skirt hangings. Thank you so much, Jenn – you freakin’ ROCK!
