Hello there! I'm Sister Diane and I have two grand passions: making crafts and making media. That's what I write about here, and sometimes, I get all thoughtful about internet culture and creative small businesses. Thanks for stopping by! Would you like some tea?

Danger . . . Wall Approaching

I was commenting on this post at Love Forever earlier this week, and writing about how I’m a little. . . er. . . unbalanced in my approach to work these days. It’s such an extreme delight, working from home, I rarely stop. And then the next thing I know, I’ve gone ten days straight, all of them over 12 hours, and then I wake up one morning barely able to function.

That was yesterday, actually. So for the rest of this weekend, I’m staying away from the computer and playing with other toys (mostly projects for next week’s podcast – yaaaaaaaay!).

Thought I’d share some of the things that made me happy on the World Wide Web this week:

- Amy’s tiny, tiny sock monkey. Not to mention, her amazing tiny sushi.

- Kristin’s nice little teabag pattern, over at Craft Leftovers. (I also want to make this needle wrap. )

- What You Make It, a really beautifully-made online art/craft zine.

- These fried egg cuffs, over at Monster Crochet. She is such a freakin’ genius.
