What a splendid weekend it has been. I had the great pleasure of hanging out on Saturday with the lovely Susan, who was in town from LA. Susan is such an inspiring person, hanging out with her is like getting a week’s vacation and a super-charge all at the same time. I do wish she’d come back to P-Town for good.
We made a pilgrimage to the Knittn Kitten, where I scored a pile of quilting scraps in shades of pink and an armload of plastic canvas, and more buttons. And an awesome 1963 issue of McCall’s Needlework and Crafts.
We also had a nice visit with Mariko and Melissa, and got a glimpse of SuperBuzzy World Headquarters, which is inspiringly organized.

Later, Susan and I hung out with Pink Craftie at Stumptown Coffee and did a little bead and wire crochet. Here, Craftie takes a break to model Susan’s creation. You know, for as well-traveled as Craftie is, she’s really quite down-to-earth and friendly.
…Tomorrow, I’ll post about today’s amazing Church of Craft meeting.
