Hello there! I'm Sister Diane and I have two grand passions: making crafts and making media. That's what I write about here, and sometimes, I get all thoughtful about internet culture and creative small businesses. Thanks for stopping by! Would you like some tea?

Community Support is in the Air…

Look what I just bought from the Wonderland Retreat store! It’s called “Love Is in The Air,” and it’s made by Hannah Kopacz, of MadeWithLoveByHannah.com. Isn’t it beautiful? Just makes me happy to look at it. Hannah totally rocks. Her blog is a fun read, too!

There are so many amazing things on Wonderland Retreat, and all proceeds go to Alison Gordon of WonderlandQ, who, as most of you know, recently underwent surgery and now faces steep medical bills.

Maybe you can do your Mother’s Day shopping over there, and support a very good cause. I love our community so much, because even though we’re scattered all over the world and many of us have never met, we’re so ready to offer each other support. We are all fortunate indeed to be here, and now.

Here’s my little Wonderland Retreat donation: four sets of crafty zines I made. More details are here. If you have some handmade items to donate, I know they’ll be very appreciated. More details on that here.

In other news, my friends, I’m afraid that this week’s podcast will be a couple days late. I’m sorry — and I promise it’ll be worth the wait. And no, I don’t plan on making this lateness-thing a habit. :-)

  • Hello Sister Diane!
I’m writing in to tell you that I’ve put a link on my blog to your site. Because I listen to your podcasts since last year, and am so happy that you do what you do! It’s wonderful to listen to your interesting interviews, your research on crafty goodies, etc..
If you feel like leaving a comment, please do! That would be nice!
