hi, i wanted to let you know i tagged you so i'm commenting here way late to also say thanks for linking to me, you are awesome, and this episode was really super great! i love craftypod SO much, and this was one of my all time favorite shows for sure! thanks for being superrad!
  • I always love your podcasts, but this one totally rocked! As a web designer, I couldn't agree more that creating your own media is totally crafty. In fact, I often find myself integrating the two.

I wanted to comment specifically on a question you asked in this episode:

"Well So what do you think happens when people read zines or listen to podcasts or watch videocasts, what do you think happens to them - taking in this independent content?"

I wanted to add that when I take in independent media, I'm much more inspired to create my own media a) in response to what I've seen and b) because if they can do it, why can't I? I look at it as actively participating vs. passively consuming, and you and Alan really hit on that. Great great great!

And thanks for keeping craftypod coming! I never miss an episode!
