Hello there! I'm Sister Diane and I have two grand passions: making crafts and making media. That's what I write about here, and sometimes, I get all thoughtful about internet culture and creative small businesses. Thanks for stopping by! Would you like some tea?

Now, this is reclaiming!

I’m such a fan of Christine Claringbold. She takes old vinyl records and does fantastic, beautiful things with them. Such a savvy colorist, and — good lord! — what a steady hand!

I admire anyone who can take cast-off things and make something new with them. But it’s really a feat of ingenuity when you can make something new that’s both lovely and useful.

I thought you might enjoy a peek at Christine’s work, too. You can see more on Eye Pop Art, which is her website and business name.

And then . . . there are lots more of these gorgeous things at her Etsy store.

I also just posted an interview with Christine over at DIY Alert. Not to mention, she just joined the wonderful world of blogging!
