Hello there! I'm Sister Diane and I have two grand passions: making crafts and making media. That's what I write about here, and sometimes, I get all thoughtful about internet culture and creative small businesses. Thanks for stopping by! Would you like some tea?

Good Stuff from The Sampler

The Sampler arrived yesterday in its snazzy new box. As always, there was much crafty goodness. Here are some favorites:

- An awesome record-label magnet from Little Evelyn. I was super-thrilled to see this, because when I interviewed Jill back in the day, we talked about how she was developing some record-based products to go with her awesome album cover notebooks. The album here is “Homer and Jethro at the Country Club.” Love that!

- Clearly, I am a big sucker for finger puppets. This one, by adeeart, is so adorable. Adee rocks the custom dolls. too.

- This pendant from Crye’s Creations is not only lovely, it goes perfectly with the Celeste. Crye also has some interesting beaded doll kits on her website — check them out.

- Christine Renee brings the buttony goodness again with this set from re-conceived.com. There are Girl Scouts on these — which was really cool, given my recent score of a vintage GS Manual. I’m also digging hard on Christine’s Scary Octopus Pocket Mirror.

  • I envy you (and everyone in the US) cause you have so many cool internet craft stores that can be use easily! I live in Chile so buying online is very unpleasant, as most of the sites won’t ship their stuff here, and if they do, it’s very expensive :(

but anyway…Seeing all this cute stuff is an inspiration :)

I really like your blog, congrats :)
