Cool things over at DIY Alert…

Here are some of my favorite crafter profiles of late, from DIY Alert:

- April Alden of Rosewebs (pictured above). I’ve mentioned her before here. She makes awesome things from those webbing strips old-school lawn chairs were woven from. I love how colorful and sturdy her bags are! Read more about ‘em here.

- Jen, proprietess of jDUCT. She is seriously the wizard of the duct-tape wallet. She manages a detail and craftsmanship level that I can’t even fathom. Check her out here.

- Tami Reinhardt, who takes vintage magazine and newspaper photos and ads, and makes them into wallets, bags, and more. Really cool stuff. See more here.
