How odd . . . the Christmas Season kind of started for me this week.
- First, K and I began work on our 2007 Christmas Digest zine. This is our third year producing a hefty holiday zine for family and friends. We include articles, recipes, craft projects (of course), puzzles, poems, and whatever else we can come up with. It’s my favorite thing we collaborate on all year.
(First thing I’ve written for this year’s issue: an article on good old Ebenezer Scrooge. I so love to research Christmas stuff!)

- Next, I’ve been busy making up project samples for some holiday-season craft classes I’m hoping to teach. (But I’ll show you full pics in a few months, when they’re more relevant.)
- And finally, I had my first occurrence of “Before the Holidays/After the Holidays” demarcation for 2007. You know how how that works — as that time of year approaches, you begin putting everything in your life into two piles: things you’ll be dealing with before the holidays, and things that are going to have to wait until after. Yeah. That just started for me.
. . . No wonder I’m always so done with the holiday season by mid-December.

How fun! I love the idea of a Holiday Zine – what a fun thing to do together.
Is that a HOLIDAY MADLIBS up there in that picture!? FUN!

I am a huge fan of Christmas, but more importantly, A Christmas Carol and Scrooge. Can I be on your Christmas Digest Zine mailing list even tho I’m not family?!! Please??
