Diane, this was a fabulous show. Thank you so much for addressing burnout and overload. I was pretty sure other crafters went through the same thing but to hear it said out loud by other people was so validating. The tips shared were great and the advice was very much needed and appreciated. Thank you!

Thanks for putting a great show together! I'm looking forward to the next one. I used to live in Portland and have three siblings lucky enough to still be there. A town with tons of creativity, your proof of that. Thanks again, katy

OK - this is one of my favorite shows of yours. Fantastic interviews, information and tips. Great stuff on a great subject!

I was thinking about this subject last week as I started the project of cleaning out/purging/reorganizing my office/craft space. I think something else that contributes to craft overload is compulsive purchases and the lure of the thrift and craft shops. As I purged through piles of stuff (and I probably have less than most, since I'm a semi-newbie crafter) I realized that I could likely craft all day every day for a year and still not use up all my supplies. For me, I think some shopping limitations are in order. I don't feel like I shop much, but when I hit a thrift store .... watch out. The piles of books, scraps, bits and pieces get overwhelming in a hurry. For now, I'm not allowing myself to buy anything until I give away or swap some of this stuff, and complete a few projects with the stuff. :)
