Some days, you just need comforting things around you. And today, I’m feeling comforted by this perfect little sewing kit, which the lovely Khadija sent me from her recent trip to the UK. Call me a geek if you will, but I love how all these needles are pre-threaded with different colors of thread, and how that thread is bundled so neatly.
This little beauty is just a little smaller than a business card. It’s tiny, and efficient, and perfect.
I think if I ever took a trip around the world, I’d collect hotel sewing kits everywhere.

I love that they are all pre threaded…….sometimes I use the totally inapropriate colour just because it’s still threaded.

I love these. I DO travel around the world and I DO collect these. That green matches one of my son’s stuffies so I did a repair job with one of mine. Some hotels are going cheapo and discontinuing this lovely amenity, but I ask for one if they don’t have one in with my cotton balls and q-tips :) I thought I was the only one who collects things like this – so good to know I’m not alone!
