I’ll admit it: there are months where I feel too busy, too frazzled to organize a Church of Craft meeting. But then inevitably, I get to said meeting and it’s just amazing, and I’m so thankful to be involved with the whole thing. This past Sunday was no exception.

I actually took a ton of pictures — so many cute Glove Monsters got made! And so, instead of cramming them all into a blog post, I made a Flickr set. (Which is a big deal, as I am a terribly Luddite Flickr user.) So go check ‘em all out.

We had such a nice mix of people — some creative kids, some adults, some women, and — a rarity at Church of Craft — some men. Here’s Gretchin, who brought Toby and Squee! to cheer her on as she created Gregory (below, and isn’t he cute?)

At the end of the meeting, we lined everyone’s creations up on a long table, and then all stood there taking pictures of them. Camera-flash popping all over the place, like it was some kind of Glove-Monster Red Carpet affair. So much fun.

Those look awesome! Just another reason on an already long list of why to get back to the west coast! I’d love to go to a Church of Craft event!
