I’m in the middle of an extended break from celebrating Halloween, but this thought captivated me today: if I had unlimited resources of time, cash, and enthusiasm, who would I dress up as?
So that’s my top three, in order of preference. Who are yours?

Wonderwoman is overdone. I vote for Mary Poppins. But you’d need to find a way to pull wild and crazy things out of your handbag…like a handmade softie folding ladder or something…

I would want to be Audrey Tatou in Amelie (this would require a very specific wig), or Squeaky Fromme if I had a sig. other to be Charles Manson.

You’d be a great Mary Poppins!! :)
I would want to be Lucille Ball (overdone, I know, but she seems fun). Or Velma from Scooby Doo (also overdone, I think).

I really love those costumes from the turn of the century where people would embody some ideal or concept like “Purity” or “Spring” . . . I’m also a big fan of costumes that embody the mythic and divine feminine like “Medusa” or “Aphrodite” . . . and yet, right at this moment, if I could be anything for Halloween, I think I’d be a Chocolate Fountain, complete with fruit for dipping . . .somehow, the chocolate would be fountaining off the top of my head, so it was like I was looking out at Halloween through a chocolate waterfall . . . and anyone who kissed me would be chocolate dipped . . .

wow! you would be a fabulous mary poppins! but i’d be impressed & intrigued at the peewee herman costume, too. and you already ARE wonderwoman, so there’s no challenge there. ;)
bridget: a chocolate fountain? you’d win an award. you’d certainly be the most popular costume at the ball.
