It’s November Sampler time! And there were lots of wonderful things in this one. Like that lovely photo print by Alicia Bock. In this digital age, I love the little details that give this image a vintage look: pebbly photo paper, a slight yellow tint, and that white border.

This portrait pin by Sevenkeys Design is so pretty! The ribbon has this on it: “l’essentiel est invisible pour les yeux.” (In English: “The essential is invisible to the eyes,” or at least according to Google Translator.) Delightfully girly.

Jewel Alchemy made this lovely necklace. I really like the combination of the green garnet stone and the crocheted cord. On her Etsy shop, you can see a similar thing in pink.

. . . And these earrings, by Beadoodles, coordinate perfectly. Don’t you love those oval links? Definitely check out her rings, too.

Great graphic Christmas card, by Lizard Press. Mmmmmm . . . Lizard Press.

And then there’s this print by Axelhoney, which I’m posting big so you can see all the detail. This is the first of the Sampler Collaborative Prints series — The Sampler will be periodically commissioning an exclusive illustration from one of its contributors. The prints are then made by Alison Gordon. And not only do these prints go out in The Sampler, they’re also available on The Sampler Shop. Very cool.
