Hello there! I'm Sister Diane and I have two grand passions: making crafts and making media. That's what I write about here, and sometimes, I get all thoughtful about internet culture and creative small businesses. Thanks for stopping by! Would you like some tea?

It’s up at Etsy…

UPDATE: Good lord, you guys ROCK! My initial listing sold out, so I’ve re-listed a few more copies. But when these are gone, that’s all for this year. Thank you so much!

UPDATE AGAIN: That’s all, folks! See you for Christmas Zine 2008!

—————————————-

Okay, I’ve just listed some extra copies of the Christmas Zine over at my Etsy shop. Those of you who’ve commented and emailed me – you’re so sweet to be interested in this project!

Anyway – I hope you enjoy it as much as we enjoyed making it. I’m already looking forward to getting started on next year’s issue!

  • I’m listening to your podcast right now! At work! While I’m working!

And I had to come over here and visit your site, and what do I see? A zine I want! And I go to Etsy, and what do I find? IT’S SOLD OUT!! I just now sold out!

  • All is well. The Etsy store shows them in stock again.
I look forward to getting mine!

  • Those look fantastic.

I’ve been listening to old episodes of CraftyPod this week, trying to catch up on iTunes… I just listen to last December’s New Years Resolution show, and wanted to ask: Now that a year has gone by, how did your friend Jen do with her resolution to accumulate as many wigs as possible?

    Thanks and be well,

  • I checked in with Jen, and she says:

“Actually, yes, I am proud to say that I have about 6 wigs these days. I would say I “achieved my goals for ’07.” I say set the bar low with ridiculous goals and it will make the whole thing more fun and attainable, you know?”

    Amen!

  • I got mine yesterday – thank you so much – it’s awesome! I am still reading it. My husband was stoked about all the photos of Scrooge through the years… Our favorite rendition of Scrooge is actually by Michael Caine in “A Muppet Christmas Carol.” Anyway, maybe I’ll comment back as I read through it! :)
