A little score from a recent visit to eBay. This book — really, a booklet — has some awesome 70′s-era ornament goodness. (ISBN 0-696-01255-3, in case you’re looking for one.)
These are jar lids, painted with tiny mirrors glued to the centers. Cool, eh?
And these (be still my heart) are more mirrors. Their frames are cardboard, covered with my favorite foil tape, embossed, and colored. I am SO making some of these. Next year, though . . . .
Best of all, there are instructions for several kinds of Scandanavian straw ornaments. Mom and I have been wanting to make these for a while now — so all we need to do now is find the straw. Also next year, though . . . .
