Hello there! I'm Sister Diane and I have two grand passions: making crafts and making media. That's what I write about here, and sometimes, I get all thoughtful about internet culture and creative small businesses. Thanks for stopping by! Would you like some tea?

December 12th comes twice…

Happy 12th of December, everyone! :-)

For once, I’m not wishing I could actually go back in time at this point in the season — I’m all ready! Whoosh, how did THAT happen?

I may not be around here much until after Christmas, so just in case, I’ll wish you all a Merry One now. I’ve loved sharing this season with you all, and I hope you have a splendid celebration, whatever form it may take.

By the way, if you find yourself with a little time over the holiday, you might want to check out CRAFT Magazine’s new video podcast. The new episode just went up – a demo of Bernina sewing machines. It should help you decide how to spend your Christmas money. :-)

  • Sister Diane! So great to hear from you!!!! Thanks for leaving a note on my blog.

My husband and I listened to the interview with your mom on Making Gingerbread Houses last night. We really enjoyed it. Also, big thanks for the cookie recipe ideas with Splenda. Hubby can’t eat a lot of sugar, but loves cookies! I’ll be giving those a try.

    Merry Christmas! Candie
