I had thought it would be in January, so I was sure glad I checked on the date yesterday. Turns out that CraftyPod (the blog side) is one year old today! (So, celebratory Temari in lieu of cake.)
I used to scoff at the whole blog thing — “Who wants to read about what strangers had for breakfast?” was my refrain.
But, like many of us, I was slowly seduced by the technicolor parade of craft blogs and the fount of inspiration that bubbles up from them. And before long, I just had to jump in.
Best thing I ever did, it turns out. I can’t begin to express how lovely it’s been to connect with kindred spirits all over the world. That’s the biggest thing blogging does – it shows us that we really aren’t alone in the world. There are people who love what we love, and think the way we think, everywhere.
So THANK YOU for reading this blog, and THANK YOU for commenting, and emailing, and writing your own blog. I love being in this thing with you all. And I think that what you had for breakfast is totally interesting.
