Hello there! I'm Sister Diane and I have two grand passions: making crafts and making media. That's what I write about here, and sometimes, I get all thoughtful about internet culture and creative small businesses. Thanks for stopping by! Would you like some tea?

Okay, just one more…

Another recent score – I do love my 1970′s BHG books. If I could travel through time, I would absolutely crochet a little granny dress like this for my four-year-old self.

Love this little bear made from one of those patterned 1970′s-era bath towels. Although perhaps the placement of graphics on the chest is just a little creepy….

And these just make me smile every time I look at them. Those giant google eyes are freakin’ awesome. You can just imagine these guys sitting around telling each other bad jokes.

Cute quilted checker board. I love the idea of handmade game sets. You could certainly make your own game pieces from poly clay, or those pre-machined wood shapes at the craft store.

And I love this felt kitty. The layered, machine-stitched applique is really cool here. Plus, gotta love this photo-styling.

. . . I swear to you, there is a podcast in our near future! It’s nearly done.
