Look at these Valentine lovelies Kayte sent me. Her softie foods are so great, and I adore this little cupcake. Take another look at the swirly felt icing on the top – I love that!

There’s a lot of wisdom in that Spinster blogpost and not just for the independent and unattached. For many attached people seeing to everyone else’s happiness on holidays means that holidays are long on work and short on enjoyment.
I have a morning after Valentine’s Day date with a box of very good sugar-free chocolates and a CD I got from an ardent admirer–myself.
