Church of Craft over the weekend was also something like Christmas, as two wonderful ladies brought me prezzies! How lovely is that?
My friend Bridget (who isn’t blogging, but if she ever does it will be amazing – Hi, Bridget!) brought me the glorious bag you see above. You can’t see this in the photo, but the sides are wood paneling. Don’t you love these birdies?

Inside the bag were several goodies, including this fascinating thing. We looked at the devices together – apparently, you load a little thread-spool into the base, thread the end through the hollow needle, and then poke it through fabric to sew. I’ll let you know the results as soon as I have a free moment to play with it. Although Bridget and I agree, this box would make a good purse in itself.

Ah, Jiffy Stitchery! Can you see those puffy flowers? I love how these kits always used wild and crazy stitches.

Architectural plastic canvas, my friends. Take a close look at that blue and white Victorian. Awesome!
Speaking of books, Heather brought me a dandy one. I’ll show you that in the next post….
