What are you doing on Sunday, March 9th? If you’re in any of the cities listed above — including Portland, then I hope you’re coming to the CRAFT 06 Release Party!

Susan and I are thrilled to be co-hosting the Portland bash. It’s at Twisted, from 1-4pm. Moxie will be on hand, too, demonstrating how she makes these adorable monsters. (You may recognize them as the cover models for CRAFT 06.)

We’ll also have a hands-on craft table, where you can learn to make Pantyhose Flowers from the magazine. Yes, I am all twittery with excitement over that one.

We’ll have snacks on hand, and Twisted carries a delicious assortment of teas and juices. And if you haven’t visited Twisted, you’ll love it. One of my very favorite yarn stores in PDX – and they carry embroidery supplies, vintage buttons, tons of new and vintage craft books, felting materials — and Shannon and Emily, who co-own the store, are the nicest women ever.

So please come by, have some afternoon tea, and CRAFT with us!

You are so right when you say Shannon and Emily @ Twisted are the nicest women ever....always a smile and always eager to help.
  • This sounds like so much fun! I will try to stop by.
  • boo hoo, I belong in Portland.

To be clear, I'm not jealous you're the host (which you totally should be). I'm jealous that Philly isn't on the list of party spots. Just one more reason Philly stinks. :)

  • Ooooo. I actually live in one of those cities... Marking calendar.

  • Fun! I haven't been to Twisted yet. This is a good excuse!
  • I wanna live in PDX!
  • I'm very irritated.
WHY can't I get out to Portland?! HUH?
Sure, I'm in L.A. and I could go to this one, but I want to go to the Portland one.

I'm going to go check flights.
  • So. Insanely. Jealous.

    ;)

    Y'all have FUN!
