Upcoming PDX Crafty

I’m still deep in deadline-land, but wanted to re-surface for a moment to tell you about some cool local things happening in the next few days…

Saturday and Sunday, you can stop by the Spring Shopping Affair, which is held in the lovely Historic Broetje House in Milwaukee, OR. It’s organized by Kim of Sugar Mama Bath & Body, and has a nice lineup of creative vendors.

Monday and Tuesday, Handmade NW is organizing a weekday Spring Artisans Fair at Montgomery Park. It’s open to people who work in the building as well as the public, and is a rare weekday dose of crafty goodness.

And then on Monday evening, Susan will be hosting a book-signing event for Bead Simple at Powell’s downtown. Come by and have your book signed, and learn to make simple and lovely Solo Earrings. You can also meet a lot of the Portland guest designers whose work appears in Bead Simple. I hope to see you there! (And perhaps, bump into you while raiding the craft-book shelves afterwards.)
