Hello there! I'm Sister Diane and I have two grand passions: making crafts and making media. That's what I write about here, and sometimes, I get all thoughtful about internet culture and creative small businesses. Thanks for stopping by! Would you like some tea?

Hanging up the mic, for a little while…

Actual unretouched photo of my desk, which – yes, IS disgraceful these days.

Well, I have a tiny bit of bad news for you today – or, depending on your point of view, a bit of relief!

I’m going to have to put the CraftyPod podcast on hiatus for a while. This bums me out, because the podcast has been going pretty continuously for three years now. But at the moment, there is just not enough of me to go around.

I’m definitely living in Good-Problem-to-Have-Land these days, with an abundance of work projects – some of them even crafty! I’ve been trying to also keep up my various volunteer projects, like the podcast, but it’s been leading to late nights, long hours, and a little burnout. So, in the interest of not imploding, I’m just going to have to set some things aside for a moment.

I’ll be back with more Crafty Goodness for your ears in late July/early August. In the meantime, there are 73 past shows to catch up on, so you might not even miss me. Check ‘em out at the index page.

Oh, and the blog will continue!! Your ears may go a little hungry, but your eyes will be fed!

In related news, Fanie has very kindly formatted this blog-button for CraftyPod. I’m putting it up over at my Flickr page. If you’d like to install it on your bloggy-blog, you will have my undying gratitude and some excellent karma.

Merci Beaucoup, Fanie!
