OMG! I had that curler bucket growing up! Mom traded one of her crafts for it from the lady who made it. BTW-Mom made tall (2-4 foot tall) candlesticks from old bottles and jars. She painted them with colored paint that, when dry, looked like Jack Frost coated windows.

The curler bucket! That's hilarious. I haven't worn curlers for a long time, but I used to wear them in high school all the time. My hair is so thick that holding a curling iron long enough for my hair to actually produce something besides a slight wave requires arm strength and patience that I do not have! Curlers were great - because I could just twist them up and sleep on it, and have something decent looking in the morning!

*Hmmm, ponders buying a new set of curlers to mess with new short hair cut*

That's so fabulous. I love the birdhouse especially.

And oh yes, people still wear curlers. Yesterday we were driving to a friend's house and passed a lady in her car with a head full of pink plastic rolls.

OM Goodness -- just look at the baby bassinet. Slap tulle on *anything* and you've got my attention!

It's going to be hot-hot-hot in Colorado, too, after receiving snow above 7000 feet this week. But you're right about needing something new to discuss/complain about. I'm there with ya!
