Woo-Hoo! At last I can reveal at least one of the “secret projects” that’s been keeping me so busy lately. I’ve contributed a series of posts to CraftStylish, which is very exciting.
The first of these is up on the site – a tutorial for this reverse applique tote bag. I’m really happy with how it turned out.

CraftStylish (as you may recall from my last post about it) launched recently, and is really gathering steam. Their big, multi-craft blog has had some great stuff recently, such as Khris Cochran‘s post about eco-friendly paper crafting tips. I also loved Linda‘s post about soothing crochet-tired hands and Mary Ray‘s post on seeing the world through great fabric.
There are also a lot of videos on CraftStylish, and they recently launched a user gallery where we can all share pictures of things we’ve made – and cool things are showing up there.
I subscribe to their uber-feed, which brings a whole lot of posts and gallery pictures every day. If you’re more specific in your crafting, you can also subscribe just to the feeds for sewing, or paper crafts, or so on. Just visit the feeds page for links.

CraftStylish has grown at an astonishing rate since you first introduced me to it. Of course it’s fabulous, it’s a Taunton site. Everything they publish is quality.

I love tote bags and this one is neat-o! CraftStylish is great, and there is so much there for the knitters in my life. I’m checking out everything else there, too, because, well… I’m nosy.

Well, I went to make a comment, but I can’t get the comment function to work for me, so I’ll comment here. I had no idea what a reverse applique was, and now that I’ve seen it in action, I think it’s actually something I could do! This is now on my list of things to try! I love the effect.

Wow! I couldn’t agree more with Futuregirl – That tote is tote-a-lly cute! Reverse applique is so cool – have subscribed to CraftStylish blog feed because well, obviously i need more blogs to get behind on reading!
