I was admittedly a little blue yesterday, what with having no 10 year-olds to play with and all, but the mail brought a package from the wonderful and talented Digibudi, and that made a huge difference.
You may remember Digibudi from the Men Who Craft podcast. He lives in Belgium and works for a craft store there. He sews, cross-stitches, makes jewelry and dolls, and is also a graphic designer. A renaissance man! Look at this gorgeous handbag he made!
A close-up of the cross-stitch, because I think it’s so adorable.
Also nestled in the package were all these goodies. I love that thin cotton yarn, and I think it’s destined for a crochet embellished tee. The covered buttons are destined, I think, for a cute cuff bracelet so I can show them off. And now I’m sad because I realize that my photo doesn’t show the googly-eyed cork from the best side. He’s saying Hi!
What a wonderful moment we’re all in, when we can make connections with people thousands of miles away, and bring sunshine to each other’s days. Thank you so much, Digibudi. You made a huge difference for me. XOXOXO!
