Hello there! I'm Diane and I have two grand passions: making crafts and making media. That's what I write about here, and sometimes, I get all thoughtful about internet culture and creative small businesses. Thanks for stopping by! Would you like some tea?

Monday Mix

A hodgepodge of things for your Monday…

When I wrote that Reverse Applique Tote tutorial for CraftStylish, one of the online tote tutorials I linked to was by Joan, of Lazy Girl Designs. She in turn has written a great post that adds some insights about how to incorporate the reverse applique with her tote pattern.

If you liked the Craft Stylish piece, you’ll love the extra depth Joan provides. (Be sure to poke around her shop, too – cute bags!)

I had to show off these amazing crafty photos I got at Lee’s online photography store. She is so talented. I don’t see any of these listed today, but I’ll bet you could convo her and ask very, very nicely. Meanwhile, I’m scheming a good frame for these….

I spent some time cleaning up my office this weekend, and unearthed this little guy – an Altoid tin shrine I made for Church of Craft a hundred years ago. It made me smile, so I thought I’d share.

That leaping guy is Gene Kelly, one of my favorite artists ever.

Happy Week, all!
