The garage is looking much better now, and I even unearthed a few treasures I forgot I had.
Among the many boxes of Church of Craft donations were these leather buttons. They were glued to display cards, which looked like they’d once belonged to a button salesperson. But luckily, the glue had gone brittle with age, so it was pretty easy to liberate these beauties. So many cool patterns! Can you spot the one with the little whale embossed on it? Heart!

These were double-stick taped to their display cards, so I was able to peel them and then do a couple rounds of Goo Gone followed by soapy water. Words cannot express how much I love all these holes. Imagine how cool a criss-cross stitch with brightly-colored thread will look!
Hope your weekend was full of compelling projects, too.

In a completely unrelated note – locals, if any of you wants to get started brewing Kombucha, I have lots of extra SCOBYs. Just email me, and I’ll hook you up.

I LOVE the holes on those bottom buttons. WOW. Those are so beautiful! I’ve never seen buttons with holes like that before — now I’ll have to keep an eye out for some!

Gosh -
At first glance I thought you’d hit the Mother Lode of chocolates and carmels. How funny that M&M’s new premium candies are advertised on your Blog when I pulled it up!
I love the pretty shiney buttons with the swirly decorations. I’ve never seen any like them — I hope they find their was to something extra-extra-special.

Just a suggestion in case you feel the need to move some of your stuff out of your home. Why not offer packages of goodies for sale in one of your postings. In one of the quilting blogs I follow the fabic addicted blogger has offered up bundles of fabric for sale and has done very well. On another note, I just started my own blog; Samadhi at gaggle-of-geese.blogspot.com. Hope you’ll drop by for a visit.

I’ve got so many of your posts saved to comment on that I fear I’ll never catch up. So I’ll keep this one short. Let’s just say these buttons put your life in grave danger.

Don’t know it you still have this button batch, BUT, there is one there that I am looking for and am wondering if I may purchase it. It’s in the leather batch. Thanks much!
I’m sorry, Colleen! I’ve used all my leather buttons up slowly over time. I don’t have but a few left at this point.
