Box images by Margit Ammentorp

I had a nice email from Margit last week. She has a website filled with lovely decorative paper designs that you can download, print out and make into cards or boxes. Looks like a great thing for the greeting card box tutorial I posted a while back!

In addition, she has box templates that you can print, cut out, and assemble into readymade boxes.

The website is in Danish, with some translations – but it’s easy to navigate. If you make Danish woven hearts, by the way, you might also enjoy her templates for those. Thanks for sharing with us, Margit!

In other news, meet the new member of our family! He hasn’t told us his name yet, but he’s absolutely wonderful. Less than 24 hours here, and he’s already a big lap cat.

I’ll do my best not to make my next seventy posts be about him. But, you know . . . .

Awww!! Look at such a handsome kitteh! --- Please post away! At least every other post should be about him, hehe. Okay, at least some every once in awhile okay?! You can't tease us by only letting us see him once. ;))

    He's a good looking cat!

Thanks for sharing the link to the boxes - I'm always looking for new ones to make and I need to get to work, I have lots of great papers to use up!
  • I am sorry I missed this news. I don't know where I was. I check in here every couple of days.

    He is so Yummy.
  • PS. : Why don't you call him 'Crafty'.. yeah! The Crafty Cat rules!!!
  • That is one of the smartest and wisest looking cats I've seen since a very long time!
He definitely looks like a real Aristocat.
Give him a hug from me, will you?

  • The final touch to your new studio Diane - a cat!
  • Yay for a new family member! He's so regal looking. I wonder when he'll reveal his secret name to you...

(Also, on a crafty note -- thanks for the link to those templates. That site is great!)
  • welcome beautiful kitty!
  • Your new cat is such a cutie! Matt and I are big Mystery Science Theater 3000 fans and I told him that the next time we get a new kitten I'm going to name it Nummy Muffin Cocoa Butter. (Which will be really funny if you've ever watched the show, and just plain weird if you haven't). Hope you're well!

my, he looks princely! next thing we know he'll be making himself little felt crowns. ;)
  • he's a bit regal isn't he? :-)
  • Awww!! :-) Congrats for the new family member!
I was so sad when you posted about your cat that passed away a few months ago. I'm more than glad that you made a home for another lucky cat. :-)
  • Congratulations on the new addition to the family! He looks like he's been comfortable on your lap for ages...
  • what a character! I just had to comment, too - he does indeed look adorably dignified. I imagine him in a little hat and pipe like sherlock holmes!
  • Well, I must say he looks like a very dignified fellow! Hopefully he is well-behaved around craft materials- so many of his kind aren't, you know.
  • He's a very handsome guy... And he looks like he's settled right in!
  • Oh my goodness! He's adorable. Looking forward to hearing your crafty adventures with the newest member of the family!
