Okay . . . you know how you make things all the time, but every once in a while, you make something that you’re really, really in love with?
This is one of those projects for me. The tutorial just went up at CraftStylish.
I made the yo-yos throughout our vacation in San Luis Obispo. So components of this bag are well-traveled.
My tutorial is designed so that you can take just about any handbag pattern and adapt it for yo-yo coverage. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did!

Pretty! I have a mild obsession with yo-yos as evidenced here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/geekxnerd/sets/72157594412778000/. Thanks for the well wishes – my prescriptions seem to be suppressing the cough :)

I have been wanting to use my yo-yo maker since I got it at Beverly’s, and NOW I am SO motivated. I’ve wrapped up the Halloween crafts, and now I just have to make something with this. You have made such a yummy bag, here. I’m printing out the tutorial right away.
In other news, my reverse-applique postcards were very well received and were the only ones using that technique. Something I would not have thought of without your tutorial!
I wonder if I could yo-yo my dog? I think it would be quite festive for the season!

The colours are great – I have always been intimidated by yo-yos. Not that they look hard but the sheer number of them required for any project makes me tired!
