Let’s see . . . what have we got for you this time:

If you liked my review of The Pocket Paper Engineer Vol. 2, then you may be interested to hear that Shannon is having a blog giveaway – a copy of Vol. 1 is up for grabs.
(I just made some Valentine cards from Vol. 2 for a future class proposal, and MAN! Pop-ups are so fun!)

Jamie Sue is working on a new blog called Corporate Free Christmas, which celebrates ideas we all hold dear: buying handmade, DIY decor and gifts, and generally bringing more meaning and less hype to the season.
She’s looking for contributors, too! If you have a good holiday project, contact her.

Last but not least, here’s an interesting blog to check out: 10Marifet. It’s (I think) from Turkey. There are so many posts each day, sharing craft projects of all kinds, apparently from all over the world (since I see a lot of familiar U.S. things pop up there).
Sadly, Google Translator doesn’t do Turkish, so I have no idea what’s being said, but the daily stream of images is very inspiring.

I love 10Marifet! They apparently love Sewer-Sewist—because they link to every project Josh makes (but never mine)… It is Turkish (Josh spent a summer there, and speaks some Turkish), and it seems to be kind of like a Turkish version of Craftzine.

I am making a pop-up right now. I’m working blind, but I must say that as the project goes along, I learn so much. There are so many ideas that build on other ideas. I would love to see this book. I’m going for a giveaway!
Thanks.

Sister Diane–I am such a fan of your podcast!! I just clicked on your link to 10Marifet, then looked at the clock and saw that 2 hours had gone by. How fun to see such a variety of cool projects, even if I can’t understand the language. Actually, in some ways it is better because I don’t get caught up in the descriptions. That way, I can simply be inspired and allow the ideas to lead in a multitude of directions. Thanks so much!
