A similar thread with a cord with metallic running through it would be Rainbow Gallery&#039;s Gold Rush.  It&#039;s a chainette, so like a long string of chain stitches, with both metallic and non metallic.  It comes in several sizes, so check out their website (http://www.rainbowgallery.com).

Kreinik&#039;s thicker braids (16 &amp; 32) would be all metallic cords, so they would have more sparkle, not too much more for some of the colors, and they would have that rounded look.

If I was going to use larger mesh PC, I would look around for cord for wrapping packages. You might find exactly this stuff.
