‘Tis the (Zine) Season

This is the scene around here today – we’re in final production on this year’s Christmas Zine! Lots of proof-reading and last-minute writing, fueled by Christmas music and hot beverages.

Here’s K., adding page numbers to the small dummy zine we use to plan out which articles will go where. Later on, this becomes my paste-up guide. (I know, I know – there are ways to do this without traditional paste-up. I’m old-school.)

It’s so nice to have a partner who’ll make a Christmas zine with me every year! This is our fourth year of this endeavor, and although some years it’s a real crunch to get it done, it’s always worth it.
