
Thought I’d share the end of the big zine project, since we’re wrapping up today. You know, we always come up with some crazy, labor-intensive embellishment idea that we kick ourselves for later.
(Like the year we set out to decorate each page with rubber stamps and stickers. Seemed like a great idea at the time.)

This year, we decided it would be fun to hand-cut a star out of each cover…

…and then splatter gold and silver paint lightly. (And this didn’t last beyond the first 40 covers. Too messy!)

And then we cut various wrapping papers to make endpapers. They look pretty, but we are kinda tired!

Pushkin’s role in all of this was purely supervisory.
