Well, the podcast is still late, so I better have a giveaway to distract you! Chronicle Books sent me this craft pad of iron-on transfers from Sukie. And it’s ten kinds of awesome.
There are 30 pages of iron-ons here, which range from the unbelievably cute…
…To the rather odd.
You can transfer ‘em to tees, onsies, totes, linens, and whatever else you can dream up. Those owls are killing me!

I have a pile of clothes waiting to be altered (ala Alabama Stitch Book) and these will definitely be useful. I’m thinking an adorable corset t-shirt adorned with woodland creatures and a mushroom purse.
Now that I have a sewing machine, I’d incorporate the designs into sewing projects! ..and probably a few tees. :oD

This rocks! I would use these all over the place for Christmas – on bags, Ts, scarves… mmm – I hope I win it!!!

Oooo, so cool. I would use this thing to decorate just about everything- bags, shirts, other clothes. Those designs which fit someone else perfectly would go straight to the Christmas crafting pile. The owls and perhaps some of the other woodland designs would be integrated into this whole barn-owl themed outfit I’m working on.
I bet I’d go through them rather quickly.

What I would do is: take an old linen sheet, cut it into squares, iron picture by picture on the squares, one on each, shuffle it, think it over, write a story following the pictures on the squares, trim the squares and have a nice soft picture book.

I think the zombie fingers would be great on napkins. All those little zombie faces coming face to face with you when you wipe your mouth- how funny!

Oh too cute! I have a 3 year old grandson and I’d be putting them on t-shirts, pants pockets, backpack, etc. I also quilt, so they might just end up in a quilt square or ten!

I love these! I would put the little creatures symmetrically on a cardigan, rockabilly style. I’d use some of the more odd images in my textile collage quilt projects. Woodland creature pillowcases! Iron them on to fabric, then stuff like a little plushy and make a woodland creature mobile!!

I have been stalking this book on various webshops! I would put the hedgehogs on a cute apron and the owls on a scarf. Definitely would make a t-shirt for my boyfriend with the weirdest of pictures and use a few as christmas ornaments!!
