So, a lovely thing happened over the holidays: the folks from The Sister Project contacted me about featuring my work in their online gallery. The feature just went live on the site, and I couldn’t be more excited.
(Do you notice the presence of plastic canvas?)
The Sister Project, if you’re not familiar, is the creative child of Margaret Roach and her sister Marion. It’s a network of blogs by talented writers on all the meanings of sisterhood. There’s also a Sisterpedia of resources, and online Galleries (curated by Paige Smith Orloff) that feature creative sisters of all stripes. Definitely worth a leisurely afternoon browse.
Anyway, you can link to my interview and gallery over here. Hope you enjoy!

Never heard of it, but as you’re everyones crafty big sister, it’s most appropriate and great fun! Congrats sis! I’ll check it out.

As the oldest of The Sister Project “sisters,” and a 15-year veteran of the crafty world of Martha Stewart, you’d think I’d have know from whence this plastic canvas stuff comes. Nope…new to me. Thankfully, I could “hear” your enthusiasm about it in the interview you gave us, and used it for our homepage promo. Glad to get it right, and make you happy. We love having you with us, and hope that it’s just the first chapter in a long friendship among sisters.

NOTICE the plastic canvas? I would have been shocked if none had appeared in your article & gallery. A very nice article, congrats.
