  • I really liked this episode, very inspiring! I've made a skirt inspired by my grandmother and I love working with projects, to connect different things that I like with each other. About a year ago I made four garments inspired by four ceramic animals I had also made.
  • My grandmother loved sewing, color, and wild polyester prints. When she died last year, I took her closet full of handmade clothes to make a quilt from.

The pattern I designed for it symbolizes the way she was the center of the family. Extending from that is a small portion to illustrate the children she raised and the families they have created reaching into the future.
