Okay, first, let me report that the puppet theater was a big hit, and Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay!
In other news, here are a couple my recent CraftStylish tutorials for you:
This pet food tray is covered and embellished with – you guessed it – my new favorite thing, duct tape! Pushkin’s enjoying it – but that may have more to do with the food than the tray.
Anyway, those of you who’ve been asking for a how-to on the duct tape lettering I did for the puppet theater, you’ll find it in this post.

And then, I made this shrinelike frame for photos of pets we’ve lost and miss. It’s embossed metal – and the metal comes from those foil baking pans you get at the grocery store. Super fun to make, and of course, appropriate for people pics as well as pets.
We’ve been doing a whole month of pet projects on CraftStylish – some favorites are Cal Patch’s recycled sweater pet bed, Susan’s pet photo magnets, and Lee’s heated catnip pillow and blanket.
But next month’s theme is going to rock. Hard.

Duct tape is fantastic stuff! I haven’t got quite that fancy with it, but it’s great for creative endeavors.
:-)
Cheers!

The little shrines are awesome. As you know, both of my grandmothers passed away last year, and I’ve been holding on to their prayer cards from their funerals wanting to do something special with them These little shrines would be perfect!

Hey!
Those shrine frames are gorgeous! The remind me of metal ornaments and doo-dads from Mexico. All that shine and color! So sorry I missed your event at Trillium. I had 2 sick kids and an out of town husband. Hope we cross paths again soon.

I really like your cat tray! When I saw the ‘P’ I thought…”How clever! P for Purrr!” :)

Hehe, Diane…your little kitty food tray is so darned adorable. I see those trays all the time and could never figure out what I would use one for. I love the idea of using duct tape to make it washable. Genius!!
