Button-y Goodness, all month

Hello, Friends – hope you’re having a nice weekend.

Wanted to let you know that March is Button Month on CraftStylish (in honor of Susan’s new book). A whole month of button-related crafts – Woo!

I’m focusing my tutorials over there on making various styles of buttons this month. The first one is this Dorset Crosswheel button. They’re made on plastic rings, with a little winding and a little weaving. Really cute on knitwear, or as embellishments for a whole slew of other things.

I’m also digging Lee’s super ingenious button portrait of her cat, Garbanzo, and Susan’s tutorial showing three ways to link buttons for jewelry projects. And I’m looking forward to more.

. . . I love anything that gives me a valid excuse to troll eBay for more buttons.
