Hello there! I'm Sister Diane and I have two grand passions: making crafts and making media. That's what I write about here, and sometimes, I get all thoughtful about internet culture and creative small businesses. Thanks for stopping by! Would you like some tea?

March Mending on CRAFT

It’s a bonus posty kind of day around here!

I wanted to let you know that I have a tutorial up on the CRAFT Blog, as part of their March Mending Month. In it, I show how to repair an unsightly rip in your sofa, like this one here. Which was, until recently, in my sofa.

In case you’ve been missing all the good mending info, you can see all the posts here. Some particular favorites are Arwen O’Reilly Griffith’s how-to on darning socks, Becky Stern’s tutorial on attacking sweat stains with baking soda, and Tiffany Threadgould’s yo-yo method for covering stains in a garment.
