Thank you for the great and informative review! Even though I’m not a total beginner at sewing, I think I need to have that book. Every project I’ve seen from it looks gorgeous!

See, looking at that pattern sheet just gives me hives! But her illustrations are so charming, and I do love that trapeze dress. Sigh. Maybe I ought to give it a look, and start from square one. Then, maybe those crazy looking pattern sheets won’t send me into a fit.

My favorite project of all time is the baby quilts I made for my kids, over 20 yrs. ago. They were well worn and loved down to the last few threads.

Might have to invest in this one. It looks like a Japanese sewing book, but in English!
