		<description>I incorporate &quot;green&quot; into my crafting in the following ways:

I live in a small town in the mountains of British Columbia, Canada. We have a thrift story in our town run by volunteers from the hospital auxiliary and all proceeds are used to support our local medical center and it&#039;s fine services. 

Shopping at this store for everything from sheets that are re-purposed to become grocery shopping bags and patchwork quilts, purchasing blankets to be stitched together and distributed to our homeless population to simply supporting their efforts by fusing plastic grocery bags and donating them back as carryall bags.

I enjoy making my few spare moments count in my community.</description>
