I bought this book during the Big Crafty Weekend. My practical mind wasn’t too sure about it, because essentially, if only teaches one project: this little crochet cat.

The rest of the book involves some insanely-cute photo styling, placing these cats in all kinds of poses. It kills me!
There’s apparently some story accompanying each set of images, but of course I don’t know what it says.

How much would you have loved to be on this photo shoot?

It’s pretty clear to me that as soon as I have time to make a whole bunch of these cats in different colors, my life will be totally complete.

This diagram, showing possible placements for the eyes, makes me giggle. This may be a rather frivolous craft-book buy, but it sure made my inner five-year-old happy.
ISBN, by the way, is 978-4-391-13012-6.

I love it–both the photos and your comments! Those cats and all the awesome photographs both crack me up and simultaneously make my heart ache a little. I can’t explain. I can’t wait until your life is deemed complete!

Oh man, I love that too. I bought a Chinese book with a ton of crocheted amigurumi and some toddler’s dresses with the four olympics mascots knit in intarsia. I think I could copy most of it, even though charts are sparse and instructions untranslatable for me. The cuteness is irresistable.

Won’t Pushkin get jealous if so many cute cats invade his territory? LOL! The styling is delightful, quirkily so!

Oh that book is too cute! I can see why you want a pack of your own colourful cats!

Oh, I bought that book last year! I love it. Haven’t made any of the kitties yet, but I still look at it quite a bit, for some reason.

Cute book! Love the style and the eccentric sensibilities of the cat ‘in’ jar.

I totally relate to this. I am on a sock-monkey-fest. I am sure my life will be complete once I finish the socktopus. (grin)
Of course, now I want to buy this book and I barely crochet. ;) I love the eye placement diagram.
Thanks for the chuckles.
