Just popping in to let you know that the IPRC (that’s Independent Publishing Resource Center, for the uninitiated) is offering a Recession Special on new memberships.
Just $25.00 makes you a member for three months. After that, for $20.00 more, you can extend your membership through the year.
When you’re a member of the IPRC, not only do you support an amazing local self-publishing resource, you also get:
- Full access to the Center’s presses, computers, and copiers
- Half-price copies (which is a HUGE savings for zine-makers)
- Significant discounts on IPRC workshops, which span printing techniques like letterpress, creative business basics, various bookbinding crafts, zine-making, and all kinds of others
- Access to the most amazing zine library in the Northwest

Hard economic times have led the charitable foundations that normally fund the IPRC to reduce their endowments significantly. Not to be deterred, the IPRC hopes to sign up 150 new members in the next three weeks. Will you help?
