I wanted to share a new tutorial I have up on the CRAFT Blog this week. It’s a simple bound book made of envelopes – a lovely way to present a group of photos as a gift.

The envelopes create an opportunity to group the photos in some meaningful way. For my book, for example, I found that my pile of photos could be divided into four sets: Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter.
And each group then had images in it of my Mom’s children and grandchildren, at all different ages, doing various things that pertain to the season.

Looking at them in this context is like time-travel, in a way.
(Incidentally, the picture of me with the snowman up there? I’m busy sticking my Mother’s button collection into it. So, you can see why I needed to make her a nice gift.)

Lovely crafting idea for Mom. Your snowman is so handsome! Even then you had a thing for buttons! Hope all’s well with you. Bye for now…
