I'm THRILLED to find you! I have RA, I am on an oxygen machine and have lung disease and Fibro and about 10 more things I won't bore you with, This is great! I had to relearn how do do everything and I'm still on that quest!

Oh my gosh — I can identify with every single word you said. Sometimes it’s so easy to think you’re the only one out there that has all of these health issues and has the feeling you’re being forced out of the human race. I just started twittering today and just happened across your twitter whatever it’s called (I lose new words in the fog). Anyway, I’m definitely going to check out your website. Thanks so much, I agree, it’s one of the best you’ve done. It’s because it resonated so much with me. With a few exceptions, I live the same life. I sometimes think of myself as a craft wannabe, because it sometimes lives in my head for a long time. I no longer even seek understanding, it’s just acceptance I look for. For years and years just my husband knew I was even sick. And now, it’s the close friends who can just see it in my eyes, the pain, the ever-present pain and the number it does in your head. Kudos, Sister Diane, and Julian, thanks.

Thank you sooooo much for this podcast. I teach adults who have been injured at work and are in a lot of pain as well as having emotional worries. I introduced colouring mandalas last summer and the students LOVED them. It was so great seeing these tough, big, macho men borrowing my crayons to produce such wonderful work and becoming so relaxed. Any additional craft suggestions would be so welcome.

Wow, thank you both for this, it was amazing. As another creative person struggling with a chronic illness that often limits me, I resonated strongly with this interview. I particularly loved when Juliann said that she doesn’t want pity, she wants understanding.
