Here’s some more Cricut-crafting. What exactly have I cut out here? Well, nothing – I used the Cricut to draw.
You can get these little marker packs for the Cricut. Pop one in in place of the cutting blade, and you can draw any image that the machine can cut.
What’s even cooler: the markers are permanent. I put this sample through a warm-water wash and full-heat dry. There was no color distortion or fade!
So I made myself a set of patches and pieced the tote using my special “I-Fear-Math” method.
…And then added an applique at the end. I was trying to channel this craft book, really.
If you’re coming to Maker Faire, I hope you’ll come by the Provo Craft booth. We’re going to have all kinds of cool machines for you to play with. And I’m doing a fun make-and-take! But more on that tomorrow…
