A halfway decent Market day…

Well, so when you wake up with a blood sugar crash, it can make you forget to bring the camera to the Farmer’s Market. Dang. And the light was great for photos this morning, too.

Still, these at-home shots gave me a chance to show off this adorable gingham cloth I rescued from The Bins. I love that ric rac edging, and the needle-woven floral thingys.

It’s a little early for truly good sugar-snap peas, sadly. These turned out to be not so great for raw eating. Should have sampled before I greedily shoved them into my bag. Reckless, sugar-snap-craving behavior does not pay.

Still, all things are made right again in the presence of these perfect strawberries.

Next weekend, we’ll take the big gamble and venture out to the Orenco market. Here’s hoping they have produce!
